Griffin will read a recent essay published in the New Yorker last September that chronicles an all-gay Caribbean cruise vacation she took with her father as a young teen in 1991 while her dad was dying of AIDS, as well as share about how her childhood influenced her debut novel LIGHT YEARS, along with the majority of her creative work.
